They want to own your emotions with an infinitesimal fraction of the news, mostly outrage. Outrage shuts down your thinking ability.
And being serial, you can't skip any!
I only read text, which puts me in charge. Lots of text, so I am extremely well informed on a vast array of info.
DU and Hacker News. A torrent that I can grab by little pieces that meet MY needs, not a media outlet or website's owner's.
