"I thought that the prime minister’s statement, that it was 'absurd,' that it was 'an absurd idea,' it was nasty, I thought it was an inappropriate statement," Trump told reporters before departing the White House for a speech to a veterans group in Kentucky. "All she had to do is say 'no, we wouldn’t be interested, but we can’t treat the United States of America the way they treated us under President Obama.'"

Truman was not born yet in 1867.

Please tell me that was spliced... or that she misread her notes. Not that I have much room to talk because I didn't pay attention to the bad date.

regard to history.

If I mention that my mother's parents were immigrants from Germany as very young children in 1888 and 1890, people ask if their families were Jews fleeing Nazis, or if they were Nazi resisters or Nazis themselves.

Even when I give dates for the Nazi party's development and rise to power, they don't get it until I spell out that my grandparents grew up in the US and were adult US citizens with American born children during the FIRST World and one of their adult sons fought as a US soldier AGAINST Germany in WWII.

I've noticed on the internet that AI is starting to state the wrong dates and the wrong places on posts. That is the degradation of space and time. Maybe Fox is into it too. People will not be able to fact check history at all if they have no sense of year or place.

In 1867, seventeen years before he was born, Harry Truman tired to buy Greenland as president 78 years before he became president in 1945.

Thanks Fox.
