The Los Angeles native has written a number of books, including the recent Fear Itself: Exposing the Lefts Mind-Killing Agenda.

I'm sure people do change their outlooks but when I hear about well paid people suddenly seeing the (Republican) light, my first thought is money and career ambitions.
On edit: meant to reply to Tickle.

(13,712 posts)She may have felt her particular horse wasn't being respected enough by her "allies" so she changed "midstream" as it were just to stick it to those she felt betrayed the cause.
The OJ case was judged as police racism vice social misogyny. She couldn't see it was both. And frankly, a lot of feminists are racist, and vice versa, so I wouldn't be surprised that was a factor..
The fact that the Right loves to spotlight "Libs that switch" only strengthened her switch to RW nut causes.
It's all about the ego. And I don't doubt the monies to be made parading herself out in RW circles.

In my experience - going back to memories of watching student protests in 1964/65 - there are feminist activists that are racists. There are also racial equality activists that aren't feminists.
There are some activists who have been able to work on multiple issues at the same time with an eye to a comprehensive outcome, but again, there are too many who pick an issue and that's their only bread and butter issue. All others must take second place to their opinions.
Moderates and liberals find that sort of attitude ridiculous when Right Wing conservatives are single issue voters or activists, but progressives and liberals can be amazingly blind of the "radical horseshoe" when it comes to single issue Leftist activists.

(62,822 posts)Trump recently made the announcement on Truth Social, in which he cited Bruce's background as a liberal activist in the 1990s" who supposedly saw the lies and fraud of the Radical Left, and quickly became one of the strongest Conservative voices on Radio and Television.
It is my great honor to announce that Tammy Bruce will be joining our incredible Nominee for United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, as Spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, he wrote.
Bruce, who has been a contributor at Fox since 2019, has a history of making inflammatory comments on air, including claiming she regretted getting the COVID-19 vaccine and going on several bizarre rants against gender neutral language. She said in a 2021 segment with Fox & Friends co-host Pete Hegseth that she wished she could give back the vaccine.
