One thing that really frustrates me about Trump voters is their constant display of loyalty through hats, shirts, and other merchandise, even long after the election. I cant go anywhere without at least one idiot showing off his Trump worship. It is like they do it hoping to rile people up or get into an argument. I remember Republicans accusing Obama supporters of treating him like a god, but I dont recall seeing people decked out in Obama gear or waving Obama flagsespecially not after the election was over. They talk about the need to move on and unite, but how can we do that when they keep shoving Trump in our faces?

Now, they not only think Co-President-elect is "The Chosen One" they think he's some kind of god and make gold idols to him, wear his face on their clothing and fly large flags from their houses, cars and boats with his name emblazoned.

You got your brown shirts, your Mussolini black shirts, your orange Hare Krishna robes, your black jogging suits and Nike shoes, your Zoltan bubble wrap space suits... Shame shit, different cultists. I just see all the Trump gear as advertising that "I am a stupid, gullible motherfucker." Some of these dumbfucks are still marking their homes with Trump/Vance signs in my neighborhood.

(552 posts)The vast majority of these millions believed the Turd's lying economic bullshit about bringing down the prices of ordinary things like the cost of things such as groceries, eggs, bacon, gasoline, rents, insurance, etc. -- none of which is going to happen -- and all of which is just going to get a whole lot worse because of the manifest corporate greed, economic inflation, grift and thievery all proximately caused by the incompetence, mismanagement, misfeasance and malfeasance of the insane economic policies and regressive tax policies which the Turd and this Republican Nazi Party Congress is about to enact. Tens of millions of these Turd voters will be the ones who will suffer the most together with the rest of the lower classes and the poor. Now is the Winter of our discontent -- and the Spring and Summer will be far, far worse. By Independence Day, there will be a whole lot less people identifying with the Republican Nazi Party and the Turd. By the Autumn and Winter of 2025 -- there will be even far less.

(532 posts)At my company there are specific rules for everything! But the rules for trump gear are ignored. I see Trump shirts on a daily basis. Trump stickers on toolboxes, lockers, hardhats.
The turning right of the working class union guy is the biggest success of the Republican Party Just my opinion... Never do I see left wing stuff. I wore a "Harris for the people " t shirt to work a few times my coworker said "wow" "your brave" like it was going to incite the Trump guy the next shop over. What he was really saying was he didn't like it. After Trump was arrested I wore a shirt saying "Make prison great again" It actually was pretty good because I realized all of them back down when confronted. I have come to believe they know its not right but they have this comaradarie they get from being Republican. Permission to be assholes. There are other less obvious signs also like oversize American flag at the shop entrance. One guy has a very detailed wood panel carving 2'x 3' of the twin towers saying "we will not forget" that he carved himself thing is he added under it. "desert storm" "Waco" and a couple other events. Its just a list of greivances.
The only way to get them back to voting for their own interest is for Trump to screw them over. Even then it will have to be something big.

(552 posts)The bus stopped to pick up a sole woman passenger. It was this really obese elderly white woman who had one of those 4 pronged roller walking machines the expensive kind which will fold into a cushioned seat to sit upon. I'd guess that this woman weighed close to 300 lbs. She was dressed in what I would say would be a rather expensive "smock" type dress which covered her from her neck down to her ankles. The pattern on that "smock" outfit was linear, colorful, conservative and attractive -- it caught my eye and I considered it to be in quite good fashion taste. She was wearing this bizarre camoflaged colored baseball hat which had a logo on the front of its hat panels which said, of all things: "Billionaire Boys Club." I thought that to be really weird until I saw that on the cushion of her expensive walking machine upon which she had prominently displayed a "Trump/Vance" bumper sticker affixed to the seat cushion of that walking machine. I noticed it because it was the first such "Trump/Vance" bumper sticker I had seen here in California. I also noted that on the back rest of that walking machine that she had similarly affixed another "Trump/Vance" bumper sticker where it was likewise prominently displayed - both on the front of that back rest cushion and on the rear of that back rest cushion. She also had affixed to that walker several real pro-Israel stickers depicting the Star of David and pro-Netanyahu support. Outside of that nice "smock" she was wearing -- she had no jewelry which she was wearing: no necklace, no earrings, no wedding ring, no watch and no bracelets of any kind. I surmised that she was some elderly white woman who was in her 70's who was living on social security or some small pension in one of the apartment buildings in Los Angeles. I was real puzzled by her rather public display of all that rightwing shit and I wondered whether she had any understanding whatsoever that the professed goal of the Republican Party was to gut her Social Security and Medicare. My best guess was that she was likely relatively uneducated and had spent years watching that rightwing shit on Fox News and on other rightwing news and radio and on social media like Facebook. It dawned on me that there are tens of millions of dumbass, white women just like her out here in society who will never change as long as they are subjected to that military style psy ops rightwing propoganda which is promulgated on Fox News, social media like Facebook and other righwing news outlets and radio.
