We had guests at the time. I told them all about my dream because it had really shaken me up. Later that day we heard about the flood.

My mum had that gift

I dreamed one friend died the night before I found out that she'd passed, and I dreamed my other friend was diagnosed with cancer the night before she told me (she subsequently passed). Both women were young. After I dreamed that my own daughter died, which was just a basic dream born of parental worry, I prayed for many nights that the visions would stop, and they thankfully did. Some stuff still slips through, but it's generally generic and stupid stuff.
