WaPo - (archived: https://archive.ph/lWz25 ) Hope Walzs pragmatic videos are helping Democrats mourn and carry on
As Walz, 23, uses TikTok to grieve, process and plan her next steps post-election, many of those watching are doing the same.

In her first TikTok video after the presidential election, Hope Walz and her younger brother are driving without Secret Service protection for the first time post-campaign.
Finally free, Gus Walz says from the drivers seat.
I would not describe it like that, Hope, 23, replies. But it is a little weird.
Theyre listening to Tom Pettys I Wont Back Down, she says, and their father Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) is doing amazing two days after he and Vice President Kamala Harris lost the race for the White House to a man Harris warned was unstable and unhinged.
Well be okay, Hope Walz, a frequent companion to her father on the campaign trail, assures her audience in the Nov. 7 video. Were going to be okay, everyone.

(6,914 posts)4. Too bad I can't see the TikTok video
It wants me to log in... I don't encounter that all the time.
Anyway, I'm a fan of Hope's. She seems very well grounded and very much like her dad.
