(3,358 posts)Trump will be justified in not executing three folks whose motives his followers agree with, while Joe will not have to actually commute them himself.
Pretty canny, actually. Their lives will be spared, too, I believe.

(2,212 posts)Bowers was convicted under the Trump admin in 2018, the Boston Bomber is an Islamic terrorist so of course Trump is happy he will be executed, and Trump did not commute Roofs sentence last time.

(43,622 posts)I honestly wouldnt have held it against him for commuting the remaining three, despicable as they are, because there is zero purpose for the death penalty.
But that would have probably caused heavy backlash due to the notoriety of those crimes.
