The underlying quote is trumps saying a year ago that the 14th amendment doesn’t bar him from running in 2024. He hadn’t made any claim that he can run in 2028

Somehow, strongmen seem to manipulate the law and local constitutions to extend their terms usually from 4 to 6 years, and some have successfully eliminated restrictions on running for third and fourth terms. I don't know if that is possible within our system.

He hasn't been inaugurated yet. I say we start writing petitions that he shouldn't be allowed to be president until he gets sworn in properly with the vow to defend the Constitution.
