South Jersey at the shore. Severe clear sky.
Two flying crafts, red lights or glow in the middle of each, converging at high speed. Changed direction suddenly, no curved arc. Wife saw it first - no noise as they passed by. Gone in a few seconds.
Not saying what it was or wasnt. No bullshit. Too cold to stand outside and watch for any length of time. Watching now from kitchen window.
One craft is back and it looks like a jet is chasing it -we are proximal to NAFEC. FAST! Gone
.
We know what the F-16s sound like even at night. They are a constant down here. The first viewing definitely was not a fighter. The second, yes. Could not discern distant sounds because inside the house.
Not BSing. Moved awfully fast for a propeller-driven aircraft IMO.
Now another, likely over the ocean much higher and FAST.
And another round
jet following and as it caught up, the jet seemed to drop in altitude , disappeared behind houses.
It is an atypical night sky visualization- think what thou wilt.

(5,988 posts)Up, down, right, or left...nothing Convention air craft can do. Speeds not even possible for jet fighter.
Maybe you saw the real deal, but the ones we saw were only one white round light per craft.

(3,774 posts)He is under the impression there is a concern for trouble in a container which are being scanned at night, but they could just walk around the ports and do that unless the container got further into our country.
My uninformed opinion is there is a plot to stage a fake alien invasion to allow for martial law. Personally I don't believe in aliens and Rosewell happened just after the first Nazi scientists came after the war.

(376 posts)you, have you ever seen a UFO?
Seinan Sensei
(743 posts)No, not really
Certainly not on the order described in this thread
But several trusted and sober-minded friends, when asked, say they have
That is, they saw SOMETHING which they could not IDENTIFY

Maybe Kanamits like unhappy meals.

(38,218 posts)This is Northern NJ, Essex County. He was in the Whole Foods parking lot, looking for a space when he spotted it above the store. He tried to get his window down so he could take a pic with his iPhone but wasn't able to. He said it was hovering above the WF and then quickly rose up into a cloud. I should have asked him for the color of the lights.
Yours sound considerably more exciting.

(3,249 posts)She went outside - and yup. There was a "drone". We live next door to Montclair in Verona. We've also been hearing helicopters above our house. We live a couple hundred feet from the lake.
It's gotten to a point that people are taking it as a matter fact occurrence.

(24,758 posts)I'm in a small city with one hospital. When someone needs special care that's not available locally, they are flown by helicopter to a larger city hospital, usually to Buffalo.
The local hospital is about 8 blocks away from my apartment building.

There are too many other important things to worry about and I'm about at my limit
If aliens want to kidnap me, I would consider it a cool adventure. If they're gathering information about me through some sort of spying - cool too. If it's Musk spying on me, then I'll paint a "Fuck You" on my roof.
My sincerest hope it that the helicopters are tracing populations of deer for the next cull in February.

(24,758 posts)I read about a saying in medicine that I can't quote exactly, but its meaning is that when you encounter symptoms, rule out the usual diseases before leaping to the rare ones. If you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras. (Unless you're at a clinic in Africa. )

(3,426 posts)Three people whom I know to be reliable witnesses saw the object. It remained stationary in the southwestern sky for over half an hour. It finally ascended out of sight. It was about five times as bright as Venus, which is bright in its own right this month.

(24,758 posts)I might get a glimpse since I'm in western NY. But the skies here are always so cloudy or snow filled that we often can't see the moon, let alone drones or UFOs. This would be a poor place for a drone performance to get our attention.
