Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDoes anyone else find Symone (on MSNBC The Weekend) as annoying as I do?
Yesterday, Michael Steele directed a question to a guest, and Symone chimed in instead.
She was away from the show for the two previous weekends, and it was so much more watchable. It flowed better without her, for sure.

(585 posts)In general, I like "The "Weekend" show. It's better than anything MSNBC has during the week scheduled before Nicole Wallace's show.

(159 posts)And she is supposed to deliver a message, not be the distraction.
I don't feel I learn anything from her. But yeah - other than that she's awesome.

(33,811 posts)She's authentic and isn't worried about what the dominant culture thinks of her. She's got a lot of followers and Aunties (including myself) in The 92 Percent.
Like seriously - People prefer worthless Katy Turd or Bla blah Brezinski? They are both so basic - and blah. Don't get me started on Mitchell - glad she's retiring. So over phoney baloneys.

(159 posts)And there are a few others I can do without...and change the channel when they are annoying, as well.
Maybe they should put Symone back as a solo act, if she has a following. I think she steps all over Alicia M. and Michael S. It was a better show when she wasn't there the past two weeks.
