Just got this unsolicited email from the NRA, schools and the NRA are a bad mix



"Less than one month until Y.E.S. Applications are due! Outstanding high school Sophomores and Juniors are encouraged to apply before the January 19th, 2025 deadline.

The 2025 NRA Youth Education Summit (Y.E.S.) will be held from July 22 to July 27, 2025. This all-expense-paid, six-day leadership and scholarship experience in the Washington, D.C. area unites some of the nation’s brightest young minds for an unforgettable week of learning and growth.

How to Apply: High school sophomores and juniors are eligible to apply by submitting a completed online application, a three-page essay on the Second Amendment, a high school transcript, personal statement, and three letters of recommendation. The deadline to apply is January 19th, 2025.
