Rep. Jennifer Wexton has been a tremendous champion of the Gabriella Miller Kids First Research Act 2.0.

Thanks to her principled advocacy the children’s cancer research funding bill is on its way to the President.

And the cruel indifference of Far Right extremists in Congress has been overcome.

Just takes one fascist to say "no" and the measure fails.

In other words, agreement had been obtained to let the measure pass without objection. Seems like a weak victory, passing the same bill that the (R)-led House had passed weeks or months earlier.

The entire $190 mlllion for children's cancer research was NOT APPROVED BY THE SENATE.

Dems did their damned level best, considering the steaming heap of magat trash they had to deal with, but it did NOT pass in it's entirety.

PLEASE LISTEN TO WHAT THE MEDIA IS ***NOT*** SAYING. Therein lie the important facts.
