Federal employees were always paid the salary they lost due to a shutdown. Somehow I doubt this crowd will be so generous. Many are bound to lose their annual leave too and I believe that was restored in the past. It’s “use or lose” time of year.

vote, Women did not come out in the numbers they should have, and the Joe regen young male vote wasn't there either.

Is proposing ending food stamps. Says poor people need to get back to work. Guess what SS recipients, Me included, our satey net for basic food after Musk and VomitSwamy kill SS, will be gone too, So, get new rubber stoppers on your canes and walkers, get to work so billionaires, like these two, pay no taxes.
Gettin Great out here.
Yet Congress and President get lifelong retirement for a few silly years of doing nothing physical or for us that pay them.

I’d venture that hardly any non-military, non-LEO federal employees voted for Trump/Musk, and virtually none who work in the DC area.
