A Reminder - Elon Musk is a fraud - a GRIFTER just like Trump

He didn’t invent Tesla technology. He forced the inventors out of their own company and took it over. His companies Space X & Neuralink are funded by the Government (but he’s against “Socialism”). It's been documented that when he makes these “new tech” claims he has no idea how to implement them & doesn’t know if they can even be implemented. He's been accused of not knowing how to run basic code. Not to mention he charged the hurricane survivors $400 to use Starlink.

Steve Jobs from Apple was the same way, he was nothing but a con man. Steve Wozniak was the person that built the first Apple computer.

The memoir by Steve Jobs' daughter makes clear he was a truly rotten person whose bad behavior was repeatedly enabled by those around him.

Steve jobs was very much like Trump and Elon Musk.

His Design skills were really intuitive, so in that, he was actually a good design engineer. He, like other "tech geniuses" like Gates, just needed other specialist engineers to implement his designs.

I think a lot of Tech Bro ego nonsense began with the breakups of Bell and GE - when research divisions at corporations were pretty much disbanded and everyone got severance, a lot of individual innovation design engineers who were just high enough to know a bit about Program Management struck out on their own to create start-ups without the other engineers, code gurus, and research scientists they used to work with. From the late 80's through the mid 00's, these guys continued to leverage off the work of other engineers and the organizations they used to work with to market the "innovative" thing they had been working on back in the day.
It's really easy to say "That was a product of MY genius" when you're no longer part of a huge R&D team and no one's around to contradict you. And if your severance was large enough, you can hire other engineers or researchers on short term contracts to actually engineer the solution for your great idea so you can take it to market. And still claim it was all you.

Wealthy to an unprecedented degree. Wealth on a level that could effect planetary change for the better. And what does the owner of this wealth decide to do?
Fucking take Medicare and Social Security away from people who worked for it all their lives.

Utter wretchedness.

Musk is like those three but with less kindness, honesty and basic human decency.

We really are a fucked up world as we enter the final stages of capitalism. For years, I have observed Musk supporters on various stock-related forums. In the 2008-2020 period, most hailed him as a messiah who was going to save humanity.

In the past 5 years, the general public has come to recognize this guy is a world class grifter, perpetual liar and absolutely wretched person with no redeeming qualities -- as if the worst of the James Bond villains were brought together in one humanoid form.

But what is really disgusting is that most of the people who originally worshiped Musk as a liberal savior (hey, Jesus started out as a liberal savior too), have now followed Musk into the darkest right-wing places -- just as many CHristian extremists.

the government and financial institution created an entire industry to support the cause. Now, huge student debt, and now everyone is pushing trades as the answer - there will be an industry created to support this...now it appears that getting elected to government is the ticket.

Lie, cheat, steal, it doesn't matter what it takes - it is the golden goose that never stops giving.

Praise Jesus!!

Eloon is the South African version of Donald Trump. Two wealthy nepo-babies who take other people's hard work, slap their names on it, and take all the credit. We know Trump is a felon. Given his current company, it's just a matter of time before Eloon becomes one, as well. If he isn't one already, which I STRONGLY suspect that he is. He just hasn't gotten caught yet.

if I remember correctly. That was all from grifting from his own government. That reminds me of Musk. I think Musk's wealth has already increased significantly since Trump's election. I'm going to try and find that picture of Putin's compound/estate. It's on an isolated cliff. Putin kills so many billionaires and what happens to their money? Musk obviously wants our government money. Who will stop him?

From Wiki:
"On 19 January 2021, two days after Alexei Navalny was detained by Russian authorities upon his return to Russia, an investigation by him and his Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK) was published accusing President Vladimir Putin of using fraudulently obtained funds to build the estate for himself in what he called "the world's biggest bribe." Navalny said that the estate is 39 times the size of Monaco and cost over 100 billion rubles ($1.35 billion) to construct. His video showed aerial footage of the estate via a drone and a detailed floorplan of the palace that Navalny said was given by a contractor, which he compared to photographs from inside the palace that were leaked onto the Internet in 2011. He also detailed an elaborate corruption scheme allegedly involving Putin's inner circle that allowed Putin to hide billions of dollars to build the estate.[40][41][42]"

Now they're saying that the estate has been destroyed. Who knows. But Musk is a grifter just like the best of them on the global stage.
