And unfortunately, there's a large percentage of our population for whom that's appealing.

I'm an old-timer and I had hoped AOC would get the appointment for that seat. Has anyone watched the Oversight Committee in action on C-Span? She is one smart cookie, wherever she serves in Congress. It's a shame that her loss has exploded into this sad waste-of-time discussion all over DU about AGE! Remember that now famous quote of Rodney King: "Can't we all just get along?".
Every single time we lose a general election, the Democratic Party tears itself apart. I hope we have learned from this giant squabble that we have much more to worry about with the Oligarchs getting ready to tear the entire country apart up one side and down the other.

Remember: We are the party of the people. Young and old, of all nationalities, of all life experiences & fields, of all personalities.

It takes all kinds, and we are IT. Democrats!
