Plain Language

Sometimes you have to have uncomfortable conversations. Blind fealty is not healthy nor in the best interest of anybody.
I don't say this lightly: our institutions have completely abandoned us. From the news media to the DNC has decided it's better to go along to get along and left us out in the cold to figure it out on our own.
Admittedly I was even unsettled by the complete acquiescence of business leaders.
I mean it was total capitulation.
Even seeing so many members of Congress given in to his cabinet picks and joining the DOGE Kickback Club of Self Enrichment.

I don't have any grand solution or positive thoughts to express here. I've run out of answers.

I'm especially worried about mass deportations and it's impact on our food supply. Many people have no clue how much we depend on immigrant labor in our food supply chain. Even the serious threat of deportations could send immigrant population to ground and within a week our food supply could become a trickle. In a month it would be gone. Even if you managed to get them all back to work it would still lead to starvation and famine far more widespread than even the dust bowl era.

We have no frame of reference for what is coming but make no mistake the changes will be significant and our country will never be the same again.
